Kawamoto Ruri (川本璃) is a Japanese singer and performer. She is a member of the group Happiness and former member of E-girls.
Biography
Early Life
Kawamoto Ruri was born on April 12, 1996 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
As she dreamed to be a singer, she attended vocal classes since her 5th year of elementary school.[1]
2011
Kawamoto participated in the VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 3 ~For Girls~ in 2011 on the vocal section, but got defeated during the first examination. She then started to attend classes in EXPG Osaka.
2013
On January 12, Kawamoto was announced as a new member of E-girls as part of bunny, with the release of their fourth single "THE NEVER ENDING STORY".[2]
On May 27, she was announced as a new member of Happiness as a vocalist.[3]
2017
On June 5, with the reformulation of the E-girls project as E.G.family, she announced to be leaving E-girls after the E-girls LIVE 2017 ~E.G.EVOLUTION~ concerts in July to dedicate herself to Happiness.
On July 16, she graduated from E-girls.
